Dubas discusses Sandin offer sheet, Mrazek

It’s NHL DRAFT DAY! Mike DiStefano and David Morassutti get you set up for the big night but before they do, they give you their thoughts on Kyle Dubas’ pre-draft media availability. Dubas discusses negotiations with Jack Campbell and where things lie heading into the draft (4:00). The Leafs GM didn’t seem too convinced that he would be getting a deal done with Ilya Mikheyev and potential complications involving Russian players in the draft (10:24). 

Where do things stand with Rasmus Sandin? Dubas made it a point to say that the young defenceman remains a big part of the future and gives his thoughts on the offer sheet scenario (17:00). What type of player are the Leafs looking to pick early on in the draft? Mike and Dave discuss the approach Toronto is expected to take (22:40). 

It appears the Leafs have had conversations about players they could move out to create cap space which is an intriguing note (29:00). Dubas brings up his thoughts on Petr Mrazek’s situation. Could we see him returning next season? Mike and Dave try to figure out if there were any indications either way and how much of a role the new goalie coach could play in all of this (35:50).
